Savannah is the largest city and the county seat of Chatham County, in the state of Georgia. Established in 1733, the city of Savannah was the colonial capital of the Province of Georgia and later the first state capital of Georgia. A strategic port city in the American Revolution and during the American Civil War, Savannah is today an industrial center and an important Atlantic seaport. It is Georgia's fifth largest city.
Each year Savannah attracts millions of visitors, who enjoy the city's architecture and historic buildings: the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low (founder of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America), the Georgia Historical Society (the oldest continually operating historical society in the South), the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences (one of the South's first public museums), the First African Baptist Church (one of the oldest African American Baptist congregations in the United States), Temple Mickve Israel (the third oldest synagogue in America), and the Central of Georgia Railway roundhouse complex (the oldest standing antebellum rail facility in America).

Savannah's downtown area, which includes the Savannah Historic District, the Savannah Victorian Historic District and 22 park like squares, is one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the United States (designated by the U.S. government in 1966). Downtown Savannah largely retains the original town plan prescribed by founder James Oglethorpe (a design now known as The Oglethorpe Plan). Savannah was the host city for the sailing competitions during the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.

The Exhibit Hall for the 2013 TLPA Spring Conference & Expo is now officially sold out as of March 1, 2013! There is currently a waiting list for anyone that is still interested in exhibiting, and we will contact you should more space become available. If you would like to have your company added to the waiting list, please send your request in writing to Michelle Hariston at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Hariston, Manager of Meetings at email@example.com or 301-984-5700.
The exhibit hall will feature tabletop and floor exhibits from vendors eager to show you their newest products and services. As always, our exhibit hall will be the location of the food & beverage functions including the opening cocktail reception, breakfast, and lunch. The Spring Expo allows for a more intimate setting than does our Annual Trade Show and our exhibitors take advantage of that time concentrating on you, their customers, in a more relaxed atmosphere.
If your company is a provider of goods and services to transportation companies and you have not yet exhibited at TLPA's annual trade show, our spring exhibition is a good place to start. Approximately 250 industry leaders will attend the conference to set the association's focus for the coming year. Make sure your company's products and services are in front of the transportation fleet owners—and watch your profits soar.
